First Generation  

1. Philip Shaak Sr. son of Michael Shaak and Unknown, was born on 28 Mar 1765 in Unknown and died on 4 Dec 1855 in So. Lebanon County at age 90. Another name for Philip was Philip Schack.

Burial Notes: Buried at Tabor Cemetery, then moved to Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.

General Notes: Died at Beckleys corner, which is on the corner of Fonderwhite Rd. And Evergreen Rd.
His farm was 1.5 miles south of the VA Hospital , and was S. E. of the "Red School"
The only mention of Michael Shaak being the possable father of philip was in the 1904 Biographal Annals of Lebanon County, Pa. In it, on pages 95-97, Reuben A. Shaak, the grandson of Philip Shaak Sr. discribes the Shaak family, and makes the only referance of a Michael Shaak anywhere. There is no other mention of him.

Philip married Maria Magdalena Endres, daughter of Johannes Endres and Catharina, on 4 Feb 1794 in Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchburg, PA. Maria was born on 29 Dec 1771 in Lebanon County and died on 10 Apr 1857 in So. Lebanon County at age 85.

+ 3 M    ii. Philip Shaak Jr. was born on 16 Apr 1797 in Lebanon County and died on 6 Jul 1865 in Lebanon County at age 68.

+ 4 F    iii. Catherine Shaak was born on 7 Apr 1799 in Lebanon County and died on 22 Jul 1882 in Lebanon County at age 83.

+ 5 M    iv. Jacob Shaak was born on 28 Nov 1800 in Lebanon County and died on 18 Mar 1883 in Lebanon County at age 82.

+ 6 F    v. Sarah Shaak was born on 27 Jan 1803 in Lebanon County.

+ 7 F    vi. Elizabeth Shaak was born on 19 May 1805 in Lebanon County and died on 20 Jan 1883 in Lebanon County at age 77.

+ 8 M    vii. Rudolph Shaak was born on 17 Oct 1807 in Lebanon County and died on 28 Sep 1887 in Lebanon County at age 79.

+ 9 F    viii. Anna Shaak was born in 1814 in Lebanon County.
